Four years ago today we welcomed the sweetest little boy into the world. A healthy baby boy who changed our lives forever. He made me a mother for the first time. I had no idea how much love I could possible have for such a tiny person. He instantly became my best friend and has rarely left my side since. Each day brings something new and watching him grow up is the most amazing experience.
All week he has been asking "is it my birthday today?" and getting super excited when we tell him Saturday is his special day. We are having one of our friends and her little boy come over to spend the day with us and then cake and ice cream when husband comes for his lunch break. B has requested a picnic on the mountain and we are of course willing to give in to that demand.
1st Birthday
2 Years Old
3 Years Old
4 Years Old
I asked him a few questions from a list I found on Pinterest. I decided to record his answers. I wanted to look back and be able to hear his voice at this tender age and hear how he said things like his name, and how he acts as we talk. It was my way of freezing a little bit of time for us.
Here are the questions I asked.
1. What is your name?
2. How old are you?
3. When is your Birthday?
4. What is your favorite color?
5. What is your favorite toy?
6. What is your favorite food?
7. What is your favorite show?
8. What is your favorite movie?
9. What do you like to eat for Breakfast? Lunch? Dinner?
10. What is your favorite snack?
11. What do you like to wear?(Favorite outfit?)
12. What is your favorite thing to play?
13. What is your favorite animal? What sound does it make?
14. What is your favorite song?
15. What is your favorite book?
16. Who is your best friend?
17. What do you like to do outside?
18. What is your favorite drink?
19. What do you want to be when you grow up?
20. What do you like to sleep with/take to bed with at night?
And her is what he said...
I will add that his favorite song is from Pitch Perfect- Please Don't stope the music.
He thinks they are saying "me so" not please don't.
