Pinned & Tried

I love interest. I don't know anyone who doesn't. I could spend hours pinning things onto my boards. During late evenings and early mornings I will often convince husband to snuggle with me and pick out new recipes to try. I am ashamed I have pinned way more things then I have tried. I am sure that goes for the majority of interest users anyways...

This past week husband's mama gave us our assignment for Thanksgiving. This year we were in charge of drinks & a salad. Th drink part was easy. His family has a tradition of serving lime Ricky's. We made our own grape syrup. By we I mean Husband made it. I watched. From the couch. In the other room.  I figured we would go for a classic dinner salad. Until husband said "I don't want a normal salad, I want something fancy, a fancy salad". I knew what he was trying to say was "hey babe, hop on interest and find us something delicious to make". So I did.

I found this yummy recipe and showed it to husband. He nodded his head and that was that. He is a simple man and if it looks good he is all for it. The recipe was EXTREMELY simple. The ingredients were basic. We were rushing out the door so I only got one picture. Husband added in some croutons and tomatoes. I have eaten it without. Mostly because I don't want to cut up tomatoes. The recipe made two HUGE salad bowls. So we have plenty left over.

I have eaten this for lunch and dinner for the past two days. So so good.
