Easter Cookies

*This post was previously on my old blog. With easter being so close I decided it would be great to bring back.*

I started out cleaning the kitchen. Some how it ended with me baking three dozen cookies. 

I did not take many pictures of the process. Mostly because my phone was dead and I didn't even think to pull out my camera.  I made the dough and the icing from scratch. 

Three dozen eggs. Yep.

Mixed the food coloring to get the right Easter/spring shades for the cookies.

I found the recipes from a blog sometime last year from here.

The recipe makes about 3 dozen cookies. 

I will say that the dough was sticky when it was all mixed. I just used more flour while rolling out the dough and it seemed to cure the problem. 

As for the icing I copied the recipe and just spooned a little into sandwich bags. Used a little food coloring to get the teal, yellow and purple and piped the stripes. 

I brought them to work and everybody loved them. I ate about 5-6 of these things and they were so good. 

B kept sneaking up onto the counter for seconds, third and even fourths.
