Soccer, Birthdays, Thanksgiving

I clearly failed at updating this blog.
The rest of 2013 was pretty uneventful. We had the Marine Corps Ball, Thanksgiving, Birthdays, Christmas and that pretty much sums it up. I was going to show a few highlight photos but after I selected a few... I had 35 photos. So I am going to break it up a little.

B finished up his soccer season and had a blast! It was so fun to see how much he improved. He had a great team and awesome Coaches. The sharks were so fun to watch play. They truly enjoyed playing and didn't seem to care if they even scored. We have decided to take a year off from playing sports. B is still young and we felt it was a lot for him to be having practices and games every week. He starts "big boy school" soon and we feel it best to wait until he settles in to that before we add in sports for him.

Scott turned the big 27! His parents treated us to Joe's Crab Shack.

The Marine Corps Birthday Ball was in November. It was held at a gorgeous hotel in downtown Ft. Worth. My mama was in town visiting and was so kind to stay with B for the night so we got a night away. It was so fun to get fancy for the evening. The ball honestly was not as exciting as the first year we went. It was strange not having our friends with us. Scott and I did enjoy our time together though. We stayed in the hotel the ball was held. After the dinner and ceremony was over we left, changed into some comfy clothes and walked the streets in Ft. Worth before calling it a night.

Bradley had his first school pictures done. It is so crazy to me that he will be in KINDERGARDEN soon. I cant believe he will be five this year! He is so ready for it too.

Thanksgiving was such a fun day as well. We spend the day over at Scott's parents.  However before we enjoyed the day with them we spent some time enjoying some traditions just the three of us. Scott made that adorable turkey cheese ball we found on Pinterest. And of course we had to make our own pineapple. Which although I still think is such a strange thing to do has become one of our favorite traditions.
