Easter

I promise I am trying to get better at blogging.  

Easter. B really understood what was happening this year. He knew the bunny would be coming over and bring him a present. I was sure to remind B that we celebrate Easter because of Christ. (Although his age prevented me from having deeper spiritual conversations) He finally said "Easter for Jesus mama?" I was so proud.  

My mom was in town(post coming) so she was able to spend Easter with us. The weekend was filled with tons of fun.

Friday night we colored eggs. B loved it and not one was cracked. He was putting stickers on his eggs until he realized they could stick to his face. :)

 Saturday morning the in-laws had a ward Easter egg hunt. B played some games before collecting his goodies. I was rather surprised that he grasped the concept of gathering eggs rather quickly. It was fun to watch him enjoy it and he could care less about how many eggs he found.We were even lucky enough to grab a family picture of the Minson side. We were just missing Brad( FIL) and Eric (BIL). After the ward function we headed back to the Minson home and colored Eggs with the cousins.

Easter Morning B woke up and was excited to find the bunny & Nana had brought him his very own bike. He was beyond thrilled and couldn't wait to ride it. We went to the in-laws for Easter Breakfast and an egg hunt with the kids. Then we headed back home(Poor husband had to work) and got ready for church. B is still not use to 1p.m. church and fell asleep in nursery. After we got home B was back on his bike and stayed on it until we had to pry him off for bed.
