I have been blessed with a very healthy son. When I find out about children who suffer in one way or another it breaks my heart and I want to do as much as I personally can to help them. I recently came across a little boy, Nick, on A Deployment Diary (In Hawaii).

He is 6 years old and was born with a major heart defect. Today he will be undergoing a major surgery in an attempot to remove the massive tumor in his heart. (Please keep this little boy, his family, and the medical staff in your thoughts and prayers) Nick's is a rare case and every step they take is a step in unknown territory.
