Monkey had a party!

We decided to keep it simple for the Monkey's first birthday. So we invited the family over and a few friends. Husband even invited a few friends over from work. We had a great turn out! Bradley was SPOILED.
I made cupcakes for everyone and one GIANT cupcake for Monkey. The kids came and ate pizza and played. It was so much work but so worth it.
Husband didn't understand what the big deal was. I was rather stressed out all day. Trying to get everything ready and trying to get it perfect. It was more then just our little boy turning one. It was that I made it through the first year, 7 Months of it without husband. It was a big accomplishment for me, on a personal level. As a new mother this first birthday was a BIG deal.
The biggest excitement of the night, Monkey freakin started to walk! 3 days before his first birthday! I cried. I was so happy, it really hit me, Husband was home and was able to see him walk. He didn't miss it.
