If only you could see it sparkle...
OK so in just a few hours I will be driving up to Camp Pendleton. Why would I be driving this hour long drive you ask???? (OK so maybe my sister is driving and I am actually just the passenger but still...) Well after 7 months and a delayed departure due to sand storms Scott is finally back! I keep checking the flight information and yes...they are in fact EN ROUTE! Estimated arrival is at 4:00 p.m. I am so excited and so happy that Kitty(Scott's mom) told me about the ceremony they hold for them.
Last night my sister (Amanda) and I finished the posters to welcome him home. We decided to use as much glitter as we could so that they would really sparkle! And I know I have the support of glitter from Scott's sister(Amber). Scott is not one of those people who truly enjoys a ton of attention on him so I know he will just love the posters! he he. I will be sure to post pictures of the actual parade and all of that from base...
We discussed the color options keeping in mind we had to match it to the glitter!
I was very proud...I was wearing white and did not get it dirty!

Oh and before I go...so my doctor gave me this kick count sheet...can I please just say...it is soooo annoying to have to do. I get so distracted and forget I am suppose to be paying attention and counting all of the movements. And having to do it every day is a bit much. But I will say it is forcing me to sit and just enjoy these little flutters. So many say it is something I am going to miss once baby is born...so I guess I just need to suck it up and count. :)
