The first week of July the three of us packed up and moved from our tiny little apartment in Logan, UT and traveled the obnoxiously long distance back...yes back to Texas.
We made the rapid and intense decision to move back home. There was a multitude of decisions that had a huge impact on our decision to pack up our lives and move again. I wont go into most of those. However I will say this. We truly loved and enjoyed our time in Utah. We made some amazing friends and had some truly unforgettable experiences. We loved our Logan family...and now for the rest.
The past few months have been nothing but incredible, painful, emotional, and can I say incredible again?!
A few weeks before we returned to Texas, my AMAZING old company (HEY WENDY!) offered me my old position back. I was floored and so completely grateful. Because we moved back the week of July 4th, I was able to pop in and say hi to the office and officially started the following Monday. Scott applied for a few jobs and thanks to our good friend (Hey Kalen!) he landed a position with a great company. We are super thankful that we both had jobs within two weeks of our move.
Apartment hunting was the most painful of the entire moving process. Scott's parents kindly opened there home to us. We were super grateful for that. However nothing beets having your own home. We looked for weeks. Finally found an amazing apartment with everything we wanted in a home, location and of course price. We moved in August 16th. I still have to finish unpacking our closet...but if you could see the piles of close I have. You would understand and sympathize. Maybe hire me a maid or fly my bestie out here to organize and help decorate my apartment. Just a thought.
Mr. B has had quite the eventful few weeks as well. He started soccer with the local soccer club. He LOVES it! His first game is this Saturday and little man could not be more thrilled. B also has started his final year of preschool. He loves his teachers and for the most part is so excited to go to "school" everyday.
We are finally settling into a normal. It feels so good to be back home in Texas. Hopefully Ill be able to update more.
