Friday was a fun day.
This was not B's first trip to Sea World. On most of his weekend visits with Nana, he was lucky enough to get to visit all the fish. However this was the first time Scott and I were able to take B. We hadn't been there together since our very first date.
We spent the day at sea world. My sister(Amanda) who works in the security department was nice enough and scored us seats for dine with Shamu.
I was excited to share that with B. Getting to see a massive whale up close and personal was so much fun.(Even if I had seen it 3-4 times before)
(B was chomping down on his 4th whale cookie! He would take a bite and then accidentally drop it on the wet floor)
We visited the polar bears, and took a break inside a cave.
It was so much fun to watch B discover all of his favorite spots. I loved getting to watch him run around with his Nana.
B was so obsessed with watching all the fish. I even got him to touch a star fish, not his favorite part of the day though.
B had a blast! While my sisters and mama had gone to a 3d show, husband, B and myself sat down with the artist and had a family photo done.I loved it. B was not very patient with the artist, but he did pretty good considering the amount of sugar he had pumping through his tiny two year old self.
That night my mom had set up plans to have dinner with my dad and his wife and her daughter. She also invited the powers family to join us. unfortunately my dad's wife Leonetta was in the middle of moving at work and was unable to join us.
We went to the corvette dinner in San Diego. I remember going as a child for a friends Birthday party, I never remember that place being so loud. By the end of the night I had a nice little headache but a belly full of yummy food. I figured it was a fair trade.
We had a blast on Friday. I was definitely already exhausted but enjoyed spending time with my dad. Even if it was just for a short time. After dinner we hurried and got home for bed. Saturday was DISNEYLAND!
