I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas! We sure did! It was such a special Christmas since it was the first one since we have been married that Husband was actually home!
We tried to make this special and hopefully began some great new traditions.
Christmas Eve.
We invited my mom and sisters over to celebrate with us. Before they came we decided to help B decorate the tree with Candy Canes. He had fun trying to figure out how they stuck on the tree.
Dad helped B get higher up on the tree.
And I even took a turn helping him.
We opened up presents from his nana and aunts. He really understood how to open his presents this year. It was so fun to watch.
I love his picture faces. The child refuses to smile. haha
He was given so much fun stuff. He got a Toy Story tunnel to crawl through and a Hot Wheels Jeep to ride. Unfrotunately he needs to grow into his Jeep. But Santa got it for such a great price he couldn't help himself.
Chritsmas morning was spent just the three of us. Which I think we want to do every year. It was so nice to just be with eachother and focus on B. Christmas day we traveled to San Diego to my dad & his wife's house. My Aunt & Uncle and one of my cousins was there. It was such a fun surprise! B had so much fun playing with everyone and opening up even more presents. My uhm well I guess technically she is my step sister made that blanket above for B. He immediately shoved his face in it and said "awww" which is a good thing for him! He loves his snuggles. (He even learned a new word this week, bankit(blanket))
(Ignore the fact that I look pregnat and he looks way distorted)
We had such a wonderful weekend. Spending time together and with my side of the family. We were able to truly enjoy the season and reflect on the true meaning. Remember Christ our savior.
Now the fun of getting ready for our big move begins...ugh
