There is just something about going to bed Sunday night knowing when you wake up in the morning Husband will still be in bed.
Friday night was lazyish. I grabbed subway and decided to surprise husband with a in home movie date night. We put monkey to bed and just sat together watching the movie. It was peaceful and simplistic. My favorite!
Saturday I had to work from 9-6. While I was away Husband and Monkey decided to re-order cable. Again. Fortunately Husband got an AMAZING deal for the package and it is way cheaper then what we were paying for cox. (Pretty much half of what we were paying) So I wasn't too upset. When I got home we made a run to the store for some essentials...like bread, juice for Monkey and Dr. Pepper. Then we grabbed some dinner and headed home.
Sunday we ended up skipping church and enjoying a peaceful quiet morning just the three of us. Sometimes you need that. As much as I really do love going to church, I think sometimes you just need to be a family. We had such a good day being together. I think it was exactly what we needed.
Monday we just hung around the house. Were lazy in bed, then Husband went and got a hair cut. I made my boys lunch, did some homework, cleaned a bit and made a list of things I need to do/get done this week.
We are celebrating husbands birthday on Friday. With his good friends. We are going to Dave and Busters...which almost didn't happen. I am not 21 yet. D&B has a rule that under 21 can not be admitted without a chaperon 25 and older. All of Husband's friends are between the ages of 21-23 and there wives are as well. Or so we thought until Husband's friend texted me and said "my wife is 32" yea.... looks like I get to go now! YIPEE!
To clarify my husband is only 3 years older then me. I turn 21 in November. We met when I was 18. Don't worry, I was legal. And he was hot. THE END.
