STOOOPID. (Say it like those girls from that SNL skit forever ago...hopefully you know what I am talking about)
It wont let me upload any pictures. Lame.
So instead you just get a story.
Monkey has two blankets.
We call them snuggles. When it is bed time we say "get your snuggles" and he runs and grabs them. He sleeps with them and drags them around the house.
So obviously they start to stink. So once a week I was them, along with his sheets. Yesterday was snuggles bath time.
I grabbed the blankets off the floor and tossed them into the washer...
ohmygoodness. MELTDOWN!
Monkey flopped down on the floor and just CRIED. Loud, screaming, barely breathing, obnoxious crying. I calmly got down picked him up and explained that they needed a "bath". He seemed to calm down a bit, until he smacked my arm(yea...it didn't hurt) and told me NO! Then tried to open the washer door.(We have a front loader) He flipped out when he realized he couldn't. I let him cry. They stink so bad. They need to be washed. I left him on the floor as I went to strip his bedding from his bed and walked back into the living room to see him curled up on the floor with BOTH of his snuggles in the corner, almost like he was hiding. Poor monkey was so upset. He was red and his face was all splotchy from crying.
I couldn't believe it. He had his first fit! Needless to say the snuggles still smell and he is even more protective of them.
