Cooking for 2.5 people is not easy. It is hard to find recipes that are easy to make for two people and a child who can only eat certain things. (Soft, easy for him and his six teath to break down...etc.) I am struggling with the only cooking for two people thing. I have cooked for 5 or more people my entire life. Two is a huge difference from 5. Especially when it comes to portions.
Since I started my blog I have stalked tons of recipe blogs. I often check foodnetwork.com and even get weekly e-mails from my friend Martha Stewart. I bookmark those that look yummy and that look simple enough for me to make.
I especially love the blogs that break it all down for you...give you the meal plans, the grocery list and even tell you where to get the coupns to cut the cost down even more. I am all for saving money. I have found a new site(new to me) that I just love. She does the work for me. I just have to pick the recipes I want and she has everything I need to know right there. Let Me Plan Dinner
Husband is amazing. He had a crazy day. Switching our insurance back over, dealing with two "idiots" and their dumbness as he put it, helping out a friend and being tired from it all...he still came home and said "baby I will make dinner tonight". I love this man. He has completly stepped into the fantastic husband/father role. I am in love. (I am typing this as I sit and watch him cooking...mhm love it) Not to mention the food he makes is freakin' AMAZING! mmm din din is done... yes!
