I love this. I think it is perfect. For so many reasons. It reminds me of a conversation I had with husband when we were dating. When I asked him why he joined, why he wanted to go to Iraq/Afghanistan(not that I think any of them really WANT to go). He looked at me and said "because I love my family" I doubt he remembers that. But I did. I think I started to fall in love with him right then....not to mention he was a hottie! haha.


I found this on a good friends blog. Shannon use to be my YW leader back when she was newly married to her wonderful husband who is currently in Afghanistan. He is an Army man. They are expecting their third child, who is sure to be as gorgeous as the first two. Darn her. She is so crafty and talented and just stinkin' amazing! She makes such cute things with her sewing machine. I envy her...one day I will be as crafty as she is.....one day...
