I don't remember much these days...

I figure it is time to update before I forget what it is that has happened in the past few weeks.

It is probably just going to get worse.

My grandparents (Heinz & Margaret Knuth) came into town. It was a big surprise. Two weeks earlier then expected. Scott met them for the first time. He may have stood out a bit... the height thing... I come from a very short family.
We went to my cousin's wedding. It was a large Catholic wedding. It was interesting.

Definitely never experienced that one before. It was a long ceremony. Beautiful but long. Scott made me promise...never again. I did.

Bradley went to Sea World for the first time.

I can't say he really saw anything. He slept through the Sea Lions Tonight Show. Missing "Biffs" Single Ladies dance. He would not even wake up for a view of Shamu. Oh well maybe next time.

We found out Scott would be deploying this year.

Sometime in September or October.
Anywhere from 7-10 months.
I vote for 7.
This means our January wedding/reception is now later on in the year.
I have always wanted a summer wedding.

This also means I might be moving to Texas while he is away.

I have a lot to think about. We have a lot to think about.

Either way...in less then two years I will be living in Texas.

Never thought I would say that.
Scott's parents are leaving tomorrow to drive to California for the blessing on Sunday.

I am so excited!

I can not wait to meet them!

Scott is going to go fishing on Saturday with his dad.

I think I am taking his mom to The San Diego County Fair aka The Del Mar Fair.

I LOVE having family around!

I register for classes next month.

That is going to be interesting...doing home work and taking care of Bradley.

ok, so since I now have the experience of a year under my belt, I will just tell you what I have learned. I just personally feel that it is easier to be where they are pcs'd even though they are deployed. Grated, yes I am going to come home for 2 months + or - but it is just easier in my opinion. It is also better, there are people that you will meet there that are meant for you to meet and I am SO glad that I am having these experiences. I love my family but it's meant a lot to me to be on my own and taking care of my family. The ward you live in is vital and the FRG will help you loads too, I haven't seen that in full swing yet but when it comes to information, that who has it and it doesn't help when you are far away. It's an adventure and it will be great. Our ward is really good at having play group once a week and girls night and the young adults babysit once a month for free. There are so many perks you get when your husband is deployed too but most of them are on post perks. Max is probably deploying the same time just longer:( so we shall see. I just have to get him through ranger school first. Call me if you need to bounce some ideas. Lots of girls I know do school with a little one, it's not as bad as it seems but it's harder with more than one. Let me know if you don't have my phone number. Love ya! ps, you look gorgeous for just having a baby! I'm working my .... off to get my body back.

Hi Jessica! I am bummed that Scott is getting deployed. :( At least we get to see you guys this coming week! I am really excited. I will call you on Wednesday sometime. I think we will just go straight to the hotel. Not sure what time we will be getting in. We will talk that day. I FOR SURE want to spend Thursday with you if you are available!

I was a little sad at first, it will be a tough experience. It will be worth it in the long run and luckily it will be the last deployment! I know he is glad to have you guys come out. Especially before you go to Boston! I am so excited to spend time with you guys on thursday! I made sure I moved Bradley's shots to wed. so that we would be free all day!
